Welcome to First Grade! We are excited to be your child’s teacher in reading, writing, spelling, math, science and social studies. We look forward to challenging your child and meeting his/her individual needs. It’s going to be a very busy and rewarding year. We will make every effort to help your child feel safe, comfortable, and happy. The year will be full of exciting activities. Students will learn and practice listening, speaking, cooperating and problem solving skills with their peers in whole group and small group settings. This will be a year of tremendous growth, physically, socially, and academically for the children. Partnering with families, we will make this a fantastic school year for all!
